Hoping to get a lincoln ls

I want an 03 to 06 v8 ls. I just want more power and hoping to find somewhere to make custom headers. I want to get custom cams for it too. I'm big into performance and the look of this car just gets me. I'm a chevy guy so its funny. I've owned a couple of intrepids and they're no fun they break too easily. I am impressed by a lot of the cars on here. You guys have done so much work to your cars and they have paid off. You guys have the nicest lses i've ever seen in my life. I've never even seen a custom ls where i live. There aren't many either. They are hard to find for some reason.

Is 2.5 inch exhaust the biggest you guys suggest on these cars?

Yeah, and even then it's a little on the big side for this tiny V8.

Not likely...but I will echo what many of the top guys have said, "Anything is possible with enough time and money!" If you want to keep the functionality of all of the stock systems you will have to get around the major hurdle that is the engine computer. There has been some talk of possibly swapping in a 4.6L and "simply" swapping the sensors into that engine. Nobody has spent the money or time to try that one though, that I am aware of. Plus, you'd still need to tune the car to the new engine. You could go with one of the super or turbo charger setups and you can also check out the high performance forum where a few guys have or are currently building up the 3.9L.

What size exhaust do they come with stock? Does anybody have a picture of what the underside looks like? I want to know because I want to see how the exhaust runs.

Get the SCT XCAL tuners, put in a nice Intake, great exhaust. And find ways to drop weight in the car and you should be good..might get around 14.2 on the quarter mile considering your driving skill and tuner chosen.

And yet people find ways to fit turboes in the engine bay of the Talon but no such luck so far with the LS.
