Hood Wont Open.

I did a search, but couldnt find anything.
Went to check my oil, pulled the hood release..(it feels the same..has some tension to it..not flopping) but no release of the hood. Hood isnt budging. There HAS to be some sort of emergency release.
Anyone?

try having someone pull up on it while you pull the release it happens every once and awhile to mine

Pound on the hood just above the grille after pulling the release and then use white lithium grease on the hood latch mechanism once you get it open. Mine did this not too long ago, too.

Push down on the hood as hard as you can (without denting it) it should click, then pull the release again.

Get a big screwdriver... it will pop open with enough prying :wrench

Tried the method of lifting up on the hood while someone pulled the lever inside the cabin. Popped right open. Plan to clean the latch area (its pretty gunked up) tomorrow then spray with the white lithuim grease. Thanks!

Spray the hinges in the rear too, the ones on my vic were binding a lot and lubing them solved my hood opening issues.
