The other day I was driving down the highway at about 75-80 mph and I looked down and noticed that my car runs about 2500-3k rpm at 80. Does this not sound right or have I just never noticed this before?

yup and try coasting right at 2K RPM, check you "Miles per Gallon". best eco ever!
but then after 5 minutes of that nonsense you start to feel like a grandpa and step on it.
sometimes when I have to go downtown and not in a hurry I set the cruise just around 2000 RPM,
they don't honk all that much at me, LOL

I know at about 75 I can get 24+ mpg but ill be getting ran off the road lol.

thats weird mine always runs at about 3400 when going down the highway :shifty:

when i drove to Georgia from Ohio I got about 400 to a tank doing on average 90 I was rather impressed
