Highly Customized Gen 1

I was watching an old re-run of Monster garage this weekend and saw this car flash on the screen and knew it was a gen 1. I'm not to hot on it but the builder Darryl Starbird is pretty famous.

or got rid of the bumper chrome... I like where the side chrome is. I'd sure as hell rather drive it than a stock Mark! Some serious work went into this car and he succeeded in making it into a modernized lead sled if you will.

uhhh, NO. If you know how to do things yourself its way cheaper. Look at my 68 Caddy in my pics gallery, I dont even have $4,000 into that, and I started with a car that didn't move under its own power, had a caved in roof, rotted 1/4 panels, and needed a bunch of other work. Not that its a primo masterpiece or anything, FAR FROM IT. Its expensive to go fast.
