Is it possible to install HIDs on a 2004 LSE Fog lamp? Im asking this because since my car got front ended im going to buy a new bumper kit from Ken @ LSKONCEPTS and I also wanted to know the bulb size for the foglamps since i have 6000k HIDs on my lows and want the same number on my Fogs...

Please let me know

Thanks

P.S: My LS is comming with a lot of new stuff so stay tuned ;)

I asked ken about the xenon kit and I believe he said you just have to change the bulb that comes with the kit. correct me if I am wrong ken. I too would like some more info on this subject.

Alex,

The Fusion kit doesn't come in the 9145 (H10) bulb size but it does come in the 9005 bulb size. Those are interchangeable. The Fusion kit is $239.99 plus shipping. We have a monthly special this month which is 5% off any $100 or more order. The discount code is oct0507. However, I believe you are a Gold LvC member so you get 10% off that price if that's the case.

Ken, How much to switch the bulb and do you have them.

Replacement bulbs for the Xetronic or Fusion HID kits run $99 each plus shipping. You can get the 9145 replacement HID bulbs if needed. You can find them here:

So what you are saying is, I can buy the fusion kit that comes with the 9145 bulbs, then buy the 9005 bulbs for 109 each and replace the 9145s with them. What would the total be? Is there a better way to buy for the foglights?

You should just get the Fusion kit with the 9005 bulbs if you are wanting to put them in your fog lights. There is really no need to buy the kit and then buy 9145 bulbs. They are essentially the same bulb but in the halogen bulb the 9145 normally has a painted tip. In the HID bulb there is no such thing as a "painted tip" on the bulb. So, the 9005 will be the same as the 9145. Both bulbs have the same socket size.

Also, if I were going to put these in my car I'd go with the Xetronic Digital kit since the ballast is smaller and easier to mount. And, the digital kit doesn't have an ignitor to mount like the regular Xetronic and Fusion kit does. It is more expensive but worth it. I have been running the Xetronic Digital kit in my Pathfinder for the past 6 months and love it.

So you have the fusion kit with the 9005 bulbs in stock for the same price 239.99? Not everyone has that big money like you ken. For the guy that started the post. Same kit for 03 plus, Ken? Sorry to take over your thread

aserrano & decibels5,

Get the Xetronic digital kit. They are much thinner and look easier to install. I had the regular Xetronic kit (not digital) and those were really sweet looking on my '02.

When I'm ready to upgrade my fogs, LSK's Xetronic Digital kit (H11), will be the set I buy. :D

I just bought an HID Kit from a local shop here in Puerto Rico for $150 its a 6000k H11 Xentec Kit.

Let me know how you like them, I just spent my HID money on an Amp for my mids and highs instead. Still undecided which ones I am going to buy

Post some pics

I'll be glad to post some pics... All though I might add that for the price is a very good deal
