Hey All,

I just recently installed an H11 HID kit for my low beams, and am about to install the H10 kit for my fog lights (both 6000K). I was thinking of intalling relay harnesses for each, just to be on the safe side since the $30 for the harnesses is a lot cheaper than new wiring if they were to burn out.

My questions are:
1. Should I install the relay harnesses?
2. Where is the positive terminal in the engine bay, or a 12V power point (to connect the relay to)?
3. Any comments or recommendations?

Thanks!

Red to the left passenger side fog, blue to the driver side fog. This is on a gen2 by the way, dont knot who gen1's have their fuse box. This was for the projectors I had in the fogs, I dont have them anymore. Currently I have plug n play kit with no relay harness. I dont use the fogs much but they are working good without one so far.

i dont have a relay on my lows or fogs and they both have been working great imo save your money and dont get the relay

you dont need it, i've read alot that relays are for the cars that only have one bulb for both low and high beam.
i have HID 6000k low beam and fog lightes and i havent had any problem

Alax7 or anyone,

I have a gen 2 as well, and were those the Fuse locations 17 & 18 in the fuse box in the engine bay? Did the relays power each light individually or were there two kits installed?

Also, I was wondering if you knew how much current each of those fuse locations could sustain.
