You might be able to find them cheaper online somewhere else but he is referring to the Ford list price, which really is $1,659. Any dealer will most likely charge you about that amount for one.

Ya stealerships are only for the insurance companies. I just priced out an 8 spoke chrome 17 today for 901 bucks. That was for one rim. I hung up the phone laughing my ass off.

When I wrecked my LS, I was quoted the $1500 for the Headlight via Insurance... I paid $250 for the actual replacement. Feels good man.
