I have done some searching but really have not found what I am looking for.

i want to convert the low beams and the Fogs to either 5k or 6k HIDs.

First off can some one tell me the bulb numbers for each?

Second can you guys suggest some decent kits for a moderate to cheap price (cant afford a $200 of more kit). I see them all over ebay for under 100, and I have some Pilot HIDs on my other can and it has worked great but if I can get a decent kit for cheaper that would be great.

Thanks everyone.

take a look at the top of the forum where it says official lincoln ls owners guide....before someone kills you....including myself...

putting the year of your ls would help us help you since gen1 and gen2 use different bulbs.Try sylvania's website, they have the automotive list of bulbs each car uses, just for future reference.

Some member use ddmtuning hid kits and work well. Others, like djknowledge, have found some ebay hid kits to work good as well

2003-2006 low beam halogen headlights use h11
2003-2005 non lse fogs(square) use 9145

2003-2006 HID headlights use d2r bulbs

2004-2006 lse round fogs use either h8 or h11, depending on when you got them I guess because i've seen both being used.

If yo have a gen1(2000-2002)
use the sylvania replacement guide

check out ddm tuning, I got mine their. Bought them on a monday & got them on thursday that same week:D I got the slim kit & they look bad ass. They were like $50 shipped. Good luck.

I knew I was going to make a few people mad with that one. But every time I searched HID it would not pull up a damn thing so I tried H.I.D. still nothing and then a few variations, maybe it was my computer or something else...

Trust me I know how annoying seeing a post come up every few months on the same subject I see it all the time on the other forums I am on. So sorry for the annoyance.

But anyway thanks for the quick response I check out those kits.

BTW you guys running a 55W or 35W kit?

35w, 55w is just too much, also the search wont find any words with less than four letters, a google advanced search limited to this website will yield much better results

The search on this site won't work for words of less than four letters.

Go to Google, advanced search. Put http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com in the box for "search within a site or domain"

Now, you can search for HID and get 671 results.

Oops, 1LoudLS beat me to it.

i bought XENTEC from ebay. worked great i spent 98 dlls for fogs and low beams shipped,

I have looked at these before I knew about the ddmtuning kit. What does everyone think of these?

dude i'm not going to lie, unless your buying OEM parts (BIG $$$) then all of the unit are cheap pos china parts, it doesn't matter if they cost $30 or $200 its all the same cheap sh!t. so buy from some place that has a good record of dealing with people "after the sale" and taking care of there warranty issues and thats all that matters
