HID Conversion kits for $195?

It looks like exactly what you need. Though i think 8000k is a little too much.
 
I got the 8000k kit off ebay for $200 and its amazing once u go hid u cant go back

I was thinking of going with the 6000 ones. Does 8000k mean brighter, or just a different color?
 
The lower the Kelvin the brighter the light is I believe. The highter the the temperature, the more blue/purple the tint on the light.

Yea, I just ordered the 6000k ones a few min ago.

The others I had ordered off ebay, the guy declined my paypal payment cause my addy wasnt verified. I get everything shipped to my shop, not my home. So he got an attitude with me and told me he wouldnt ship here. Oh well...
 
Can these conversion kits be used on any year LS? I have an 05 v8 will they work with that year? Also, how difficult is the install on these lights? How long?
 
b34nz have you installed them yet? i'm thinking about getting these. and do you know were they are made? i know they say to go with a japanese or american made H.I.D.

Yea, I have them, and had them instaled by a shop cause I didnt feel like F'ing with it. They're AWSOME.

No joking, so far, I have pulled up to many a stop light next to audi, beemer, benz, etc, and mine looked better. The only car so far that had better/brighter lights was some old ass chevy truck. The guy clearly had aftermarket HID's and they were insane. Maybe he had his high's on, I dunno, but they were crazy bright.

I gace him a best offer of $250 and he took it. It's more than the first link I posted, but these were actually for the LS, so to be on the safe side, I paid the extra cash to make the install job easier and no drilling into my housings was needed. I love my HID's!

Also, I found an HID kit for my fog lights, I'm gonna get that too.

I have the ebay 190 dollar ebay lights in the headlights and the fogs, I already KNOW they look better than all the others on the road.

The only problem i have is some times the left light doesnt turn on
so i have to turn it on it and off few times so it turns on
anyone else have this issue with their hid lights?

I think its because your ballast may be touching metal. I had this problem too and I just moved around the ballasts and the problem went away.
 
I'll move em or put some cardbord in there so the ballast doesnt touch medal.

Does it matter which HID conversion kit you buy, or are they all the same for the most part?

i have the 6000k kit off of ebay. i paid $260 though. they are the japanese ones and they are great. my left one was having problems igniting too and i called the guy that sold them to me. he told me that i needed to get the bulbs really hot by running them during the day in the sun without the car moving to evaporate the metal powders inside the bulb. (kind of a burn in procedure) That was pretty easy to do since it was about 105 deg the day i did it. never had a problem since
 
I have had the same problems... So the ballast isnt supposed to touch the metal of the body? I added cardboard before but when It was raining the board got wet.... where have you guys installed yours any pics? please i need help
