Hi everyone newbie rearview mirror problem.

Hi everyone, today while driving I noticed that my compass was'nt lighting up. So I thought that maybe by umpluging the rear connection might work. WRRRRRRRRONNNNGGGG move. When I took off the plastic surrounding of what I guess is a sensor, the sensor got detached from one side, I tried glueing it with rearview mirror adhensive from advanced discount auto parts and it didnt glue, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to stick to the glass??????? thanks for the help.

It looks like to be the rain sensor, im just going to crazy glue the heck out of it. lets see if it stays.

Duct tape, bailing wire and bubble gum.

I'm suprised the mirror adhesive didn't work. I'd give it another try. Was the temperature below freezing when you tried it?
