ScienceDaily (Nov. 6, 2003) — Global warming has had a surprising impact on the Great Lakes region of the U.S. – more snow. A comparative study of snowfall records in and outside of the Great Lakes region indicated a significant increase in snowfall in the Great Lakes region since the 1930s but no such increase in non-Great Lakes areas.

well i live less than a mile from lake michigan and i can't say i disagree with you. as a matter of fact it's snowing again right now. so far we've had the snowiest winter in milwaukee since the late eighteen hundreds. less then 13 inches to go and it will be the snowiest winter ever recorded in milwaukee.

it snowed like hell today, nothing stuck it all melted when it hit, but big heavy quarter sized flakes and alot of them. then around 5~ish it turned to rain, the ms and i went into menards to try to find the magic solution to making my kitchen sink to drain again, and when i came out 10 min later there was a 1/4 inch on the ground, we ended up getting a 1/2 inch in half an hour, then more small drizzley crap, hopefully the roads will be ok tomorrow morning, gotta drive the car to work cuz im changing the oil pan tomorrow night.
