So i have my radar hardwired into the cigarette lighter wiring. Lately when i floor the gas pedal to either pass or change lanes it sets the radar off. The harder and longer i hit the gas the more intense the signal/warning is on the radar. Doesnt do it any other time other than WOT and it only sets off the K-band warning. What the hell is that all about?

Since you car is DBW the signal is probably affecting the hardwired radar dec. Kind of like if a car stereo isnt wired properly you can hear the engine RPMs through the speakers. IIRC it has to do with the insulation on the wiring. Thats just my guess I may be way off.

a coil is making rf and throwing it off....could be normal but I bet you have a bad coil

Thats the last thing i wanna hear about....a bad f*ckin coil. I dont understand thing whole sh!tty coil thing with the LS. My Intrepid has the coils sitting right out in the open on top of the engine and have never had a problem. But i doubt its normal since it just started doing it recently.

I have mine hardwired and have no problems. I pulled power from the fuse box and installed a plug behind the passanger door side AC vent. Maybe you have a cop following you all the time and tags you just to annoy..... Just kidding...
