hey whats up guys and girls my problem still exists check engine light still on there are 3 wires on the cooling fan plug 2 black and 1 blue 1 of the black wires is just hanging down and it look like it was connected to something in the wiring harness that runs down the right side of the car when i start the car it runs for 10 to 15 seconds and then the cooling fan comes on and stays on i tested the wire with a test light and for those seconds it does not carry any electric current but as soon as the fan comes on then it has current running thru it i grounded it really fast and when i did i heard the fan slow down for that second is it reallt a ground thats need to be grounded to complete the loop or what can some one please help im losing my mind thanks

do anyone knows about these wires to the cooling fan and wrer would the second black wire go toor is it just a ground

Uhhhh.

What?

Man, not only are you asking us for help, (which is fine), but your 1st grade writing skills are hard to comprehend... furthermore, you don't even have the courtesy of using sentences and punctuation.

If you're too lazy (or too dumb) to use punctuation, then I'm too lazy to try and read your babble.

I wouldnt ground that wire if you say it is live when the fans are on. Unless you want to find out what you just shorted out. maybe only a fuse maybe not. I'll look at my car.

All I can say is when I got my Mark (96") it had an aftermarket fan on it with a wire going into the interior. There he had a switch so you could turn on the fan if the temp started to come up on the gauge.

I didn't like that so I got a fan assembly off EBAY and while putting it on I ran into the 3 wire problem  I just hooked it up to the wires that had plugs on them and left the 3rd loose. Always wondered about the 3rd wire but it hasn't had any cooling problems so I just forgot about it.

So your car prolly has had a bad VCRM since the day you bought it... nice....

If your talking about me I know the guy that had it as I went to school with him. He put on the aftermarket fan cause the factory one seized and he thought the replacement motor was way to expensive. I found the complete assemply on EBAY for $50 so I went that way.

As I said it works and hasn't given me a problem so I forgot about it.

The factory fan only uses 1 power feed and 1 ground wire. The second power feed wire dead ends in the factory harness, just before the frame. Do not ground it. Just stick it back into the harness.

Ok. Thanks for the help I was in a hurry because I was using my jobs pc.
my lap top died. If that second black wire just ends in the wiring loom. What would make the check engine light come on and the fan to run all the time? I changed the cooling sensor with the 2 wire plug on the right side of the engine. I'm glad your lady is ok and sorry about the car I had just showed a friend of mine your car beating that 350z sweet.
