ok here is the deal...
I picked up a 2002 lincoln LS8 with 20k miles on it.

I only drive it 14 miles a day so it dont have much wear and tear.
I have had it for almost 2 years and it just hit the 30k mark.

2 weeks ago I heard a strange vibration noise coming from the rear
its sounds like a hum and it gets louder when I turn left.

I seems to be gettin louder by the day, the car does not pull and the tires look fine.

I gotta bring it to the dealer but I hate walking in and saying
"its got a strange noise coming from the rear end" fix it.

any ideas? wheel bearings..? what do they sound like when they go..?

U joint..? rear end..? tires..?

Def. wheel bearings. If you have warranty, get it done. I had 2 replaced last week and the grand total was almost $900.

and if it gets worse when you turn left then it's probably the one on the right side. they tend to get noiser when you load them.
