I know this is like the 23,0000 air suspension question, but I've been searching and searching for an answer to mine. Here's the problem. My car is LOW and wont rise. I've fiddled with the switch, and disconnected the battery. It looks great but wont rise. The compressor pumps, but nothing happens. I have "sensor lowered" the car, bout 5 months ago. Should I reset them?? PLEASE HELP, I'm leaving soon and cant leave the car this way!!!

Spray soapy water on the air bags & the lines if you have time. If you fine nothing reset your sensors & see if it will come up. This assumes that the compressor is working. Is your trunk switch on? Just a thought. Testing your electricals to the two solinoids in the front & the one in the back to make sure they are getting power & openig to let air in. You can open the solinoids by hot wiring them using cables to the battery if there is no power coming them, i.e. you don't hear the solinoid CLICK when you test for current. I did this on my rears before I added springs. Good Luck, Ed

try "helping" it...get a floor jack under the front K-member(if possible) and jack it up a bit. If you cant get a jack under it, use the factory jack under one side. lift it up about 3 inches so you can get a floor jack under the K-member. Now cylce the ignition, and see if they inflate at all. Once they begin to inflate, you will have a much easier time isolating the leak.

However, one thing Eddie has taught me is that by the time a leak is visually discovered, it's most likely been in existance for a very long time, meaning the compressor has already been working over-time. Plan on AT LEAST getting a compressor from Eddie.

once the car is up(if it is up), use a spray bottle and hose down the front air bags with soapy water...look for bubbles. check the solenoids for leaks as well.

It sounds more like a compressor issue. if the vent colenoid is stuck open, the compressor is leaking as fast as it is trying to fill. you wont hear any air...

Good luck Marine.

Ding ding ding.

Pssssssst... compressor and spyder valve time?

My front 2 airbags were leaking so I just replaced all for with a conversion kit. Much cheaper than the new bags. And pretty easy to put in. Just rides a little bit rougher, no big difference though. :dancefool
