ok i have a 2000 ls6 and i tried to get the air pocket out, it blows warmer air now but once i get on the highway it cold again, and i f==ked up the little valvue by the rad, i just want my heat to work please can anyone help me out i cant seem to bleed it out right any info to make it work please help me help you..

no not that one, the other one were the rad hose goes into and it spilts it into 3 other hose

pektel, keep in mind its a V6. Im not sure but it could be different.

can someone please give me an idea, i tried the diagram on how to bleed it but nothings going my way i'm about to set the car on fire lol

if i cant get the heat to work then i'm going to, but i want to try to do it myself first

use the bleeder by the degas bottle, and if you screwed up that plastic bleeder on the front top hose, you probably need a new hose assembly. I did that to mine on my first V6 and ended up using epoxy to fill in the hole, then tapped into it with a large sheet metal screw to use as a bleeder. The car got totalled before I ever had to do the bleed again, in my case. I bought the hose kit from Max here ===> for my new car, because the hose on my car leaks around the large plastic to rubber crimp on the upper hose where that fitting lives.

testing the coolant control valve

manual says disconnect harness c134 coolant control valve.

this defaults the DATC to full hot while running engine.

if no heat check thermostat, if working then replace control valve, if not replace thermostat

any other tests require electronics knowledge

i did the test from the climate control and it told me everything was working 88 driver side 188 passanger side, i changed the rad, in the summer and didnt think that i got an air pocket in the systme b/c the overall temp of the car was always normal

i have a question about the bleeder in front? do it come out completly? or is it like a valve?
