Well, here is my story. I took out my driver side headlight to reseal it. I went ahead and cleared the corner. No problem until I went to the passenger. BLACK SEALANT!!! Now what. Do I have to buy another headlight? I also want to put Angel Eyes in sometime as well.

mann.. the same crap happened to me .. but i noticed it before i took the headlight out .. i was so pissed.. because i looked at one headlight and it had the grey sealant in the past.. so i assumed the other was the same... i was wrong... i got everything set up and was checking everything again before i took them apart and noticed the black sealant.. :-s i am probably just gonna buy another set of headlights so that i can do the clear corner and eventually the angel eyes. i think wicked_ls cleared the corners on his black sealant headlights.. buti`m not sure what he did.. i didn`t do a dearch.. good luck man..

For the black sealed headlight, all i can say is good luck. i took some apart with the black sealant, because i wanted the lenses, good thing i just wanted the lenses, because i fu<ked up the other part. check out ebay, you can probably pick one up for 20 or 30 bucks.

Went ahead and placed a bid on a ebay headlight so we'll see. I was suprised that the diver side was so easy to do!! It didn't take very long at all and I like the look MUCH better!!! Next I'm going to tint my park lamp lens (If we ever get any SP999 Back in!) with VHT paint.
