Help - Aviator keyless entry

Just purchased an '04 Aviator and need to reprogram the keyless entry code (on the driver's side door panel). Unfortunately there is no card in the leather case and I've looked around the rear liftgate / struts and on the driver's side door.
On the liftgate there is nothing that resembles a code. On the door, there is the manufacturing tag, but nothing on the tag that looks like a 5 digit code.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be much appreciated.

When I first bought my wife's 2004 Aviator, like you, I looked all over the place for the code. I went over to a friend's house who worked at a local dealership and he informed me that tha only way to get the code was by plugging in the computer to the car itself to locate it.

You might have to go to the dealership to get it
