Help 95 won't start

Hey everyone,

I have a 95 Mark VIII that won't start. I have installed a new alt, battery and new starter, check all of the fuses and relays and they are good from some of the other threads I have been reading that it might be the crank position sensor. It is so close to the air condition condenser that it looks like I will have to remove that to replace the sensor. However I did check for spark at the plug and there was spark and when I turn the key I hear the fuel pump and fuel is coming out of the schrader value and a lot of it so I am getting fuel. Any insight on what my problem is.

Just unplug it and plug it back in... but I don't think you should be getting spark if that isn't the problem... hmmmm

I unplug the CPS and plug it back in and all I get is the starter turning the motor. Could it be the ICU?

Even though I have spark, hmmm. How many mounting bolts does the air compressor have?

check to see it the injectors are firing there should be constant power w/key on at the injector and it should send a ground when it fires

Do I need to pull the electrical connector on the injector or can I hear any clicking with the key on? If I don't have any spark at the injector will that tell me that its the cam sensor?

could be cam sensor, bad ground driver in the pcm, bad wire, the list goes on but at least you will know why it isnt starting and what direction to go. and yes the injectors should click while someone is cranking the car over

You have jokes. The reason I ask is because I can't see the top bolt and I found out that one of the bottom bolt has been broken off. I also had a air condition problem anyway because the system would not hold freeon. Any suggestions on getting the other two out without breaking them?

VCRM.... they have been known to die and kill the injectors.

I replaced the crank positioning sensor after wrestling with the air conditioner compressor, man that third bolt is a ____. I wanted to thank all of you for all you help, this site is a God send. Thanks again.
