How about an actual fuel pressure check?
Will it start and run with the gas pedal partially pressed? Are all connections on the air intake tube connected? Could be a disconnected tube or throttle bypass issue.
Had a brain fart last night. IAC valve is what I meant to say instead of throttle bypass.
Thanks, they checked the fuel pressure, and sure enough, the fuel pump was working, but barely. The car evens runs differently. It's like I just gained a extra 100 hp. But now the cluster on the right of the steering wheel, the on board cpu display doesn't come on and the car is making this crazy beep. Any ideas? How about an actual fuel pressure check?
Barely working fuel pump? Does that mean bad fuel pump or no pressure at the fuel rails (obstruction)? Check the contacts of the fuses at the fuse block. Sounds more like an electrical issue
I believe that he is saying that they replaced the fuel pump and the car now runs better than it has in a long time. I think that means that the problem was in fact the fuel pump.
