Not a question yet, but just bought my first Lincoln. It's a 2000 ls with 130,000 got a fair price of 2400$. Has one inch lower in the front, muffler delete pipes and is officially the most frustrating car I've ever loved.

I'm just running peak 50 50 right now. Only had it for two weeks so there's a lot to do yet.

That's it, 50/50
Triple check the entire plastic cooling system. It tends to spring leaks and results in overheating. Very common.
Also make sure it's not misfiring, also too common. Good luck!

Ok so few hundred dollars later I've gotten some minor progress done. Alternator replaced, followed all the steps and still a very painstaking procedure. Lower drivers side ball joint snapped off the stud... I don't have a clue how... ripped off the elbow of fuel line to the filter. Replaced ball joint and tie rod patched the fuel line with high pressure flexible line. Before doing the alternator got a random misfire first on 3 then on 4. Hasn't come back yet, hoping it was due to the unstable voltage.
