So I started re-doing my cops and valve cover seals last night and I got all of the cops and plugs out except for one that wont come out. I'm pretty sure the thread on the spark plug that you put the socket around has been eaten by oil.... Any ideas?

Oil doesn't eat metal. Make sure you are using a six point socket and not a 12 point.

You may have to get the next smaller size socket and hammer it down over the plug.

If the plug's in there really tight, it may take the threads in the head out with it. You might be better off to take this problem to the dealer to solve.

If it's in there that tight you don't want to change it. Aluminum cylinder heads do not take well to overtightened or seized spark plugs, and trying to remove it you run a very big risk of stripping the threads in the cylinder head itself.
Leave that one be.

Ok so I bought some canned air to blow the oil out of the well and it made a plastic ring come up which was sitting on top of the plug. I don't know what it was from but the plug came out just fine after that.
