heated seats

I have a python remote start in my car and I was wondering if there is any way to hook my heated seats to the remote start. I do not have an extra button on my fob I can use to activate it. Is it true you have to be sitting in the seat for it to work also. Any ideas.​

You can put it on auto by pressing both the hot & cold buttons at the same time

Yes, it will. We are assuming you have a gen II LS.

Yeah true I was just thinking what if he has a first gen. I don't remember being able to set those on auto

1st gen you cant set to auto, and there are no levels, just balls out hot for 10 mins

also, since the buttons for a 1st gen are not in the climate controls and are separate buttons, i would imagine that they would be pretty easy to have the remote start activate them, but i have not looked into what the wiring looks like for them.

Thanks for all the advice. Tried it today and it worked great now the wife will quit whining about her ass being cold on the leather everyday.

Wanna bet??????? Eight years (13 total with dual zone CC) with the seats and I still get that!!!!!
