Need some help with this. I just purchased a '04 LS a few days ago with 75K on it. The day after I bought it, the engine light came on. Took it to Autozone, P2197 code. Bought a Bosch O2 sensor and replaced it myself (pretty simple), cleared the light. Two days later light re-lit. Took it to Autozone, same code indicating that Bank 2 Sensor 1 Heated O2 Sensor stuck lean. I disconnected the battery for about 20 minutes, started the car and the engine light did not come on. The next day, the engine light re-lit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you should look for and correct the air to fuel problem on bank 1 instead of replacing the sensor that is telling you about it.
Alternately, you could check the wiring to the sensor.

sometimes it is caused by an intake gasket or air intake leak.

have you checked the PCV or vacuum leaks on the drivers side?

None of that addresses the fact that while at one time Bosch sensors were pretty good, for the last 10 years or so they've been crap. Replace it with a Motorcraft sensor. You'll still need to find the leak though. Next time an O2 sensor is suspected, test by swapping the sensors between left and right to see if the problem follows the sensor or not.
