My headlight switch bulb burned out. Do you have to go to dealer for the assembly or does the bulb pull out of the holder? Tried gently to pull on bulb but does not want to come out. Thank you for any help

Are you referring to the bulb in the headlamp housing in the front of the car? Or are you asking about the bulb behind the rotary switch to turn on the lights?

I had to take mine apart to fix a broken plastic piece that made the knob not "click" into its positions. From what I remember, you're going to have a tough time getting that bulb out if you dig into but don't see a reason why it couldn't come out and replaced with a bulb from Radio Shack.

FLM probably wants you to replace the whole thing, if that's the route you take the part number is 4Z-11654-AAA and is around $65 from FordPartsGiant.com.

Thanks, Ill give the dealer a shot for the bulb but I'll bet you have to buy a whole new switch.

You probably shouldn't have an issue finding one in a wrecked LS somewhere too. Worth a shot.

*Edit: Different Gens may have different switches.
