Headlight swap??

Okay so I bought an 01 ls v8.. I seen sum threads on here for headlights swap..I like the headlights on the newer LS's especially wit the oem xenon lights.. Now my question is I would like to know wat I need to do a swap on mine. I seen the custom wiring u have to do but idk wat else u gotta do to the swap cuz I def wanna do that especially wit the oem xenon lights.. Any inputs would b appreciated

I intended on doing a write up but just never got around to it. Bear with me and I will explain what I did in the pics later on. I just made it on the other side of the world for a six month deployment and I'm to about nod off, lol. I will get back on later and do quick write up.
