You should be able to just remove the plastic pieces from the engine bay and look at the headlight. Look around the seal between the clear front and black rear pieces, it should be clearly obvious as it will either be gray or black. Look for some areas where it might have oozed out.

I need to check this myself... if it doesnt have it which sealant do you recommend best??

From my own experience taking them apart and resealing them, it looks better with black silicone rather than clear. As long as its an automotive grade silicone any type should work fine.
