Headlight sealant write up.

On my '00 I have the black sealant and want to clear the light assembly of the amber.

Now, I have read where a member "02V8sport" was sending people a pdf file on how he disassembled the lights. I have Pm'd him but I haven't had a response in almost two weeks.

So....Does anyone still have this write up? If anyone does would you be able to forward it to me? Thanks!!

its simple, i have the black sealant too, you just have to use a razor and keep cutting away the black rubber stuff, after you get a clean cut around the headlight, just separate, and remove what you want, then when you glue it you want to get a good sealant, i think it was like silicone or something, thats what you need to prevent moisture

What is the best glue to use, and can you use any silicone sealant or is there a specific sealant that anybody would recommend because I want to clear my corner's as well.
