My car is leaking coolant constantly but there are no visible leaks. Car is at a HVAC specialist now and they've done all the pressure tests, visible checks and can't find a fix for where the coolant might be going. The car had the pressure test done overnight to see if it would hold pressure to test for the Head gasket but nothing. I was told previously that I had an oil filter adapter gasket leak. Could that be the culprit but I checked the oil dipstick to see if it looked milky or caramel color and it looks like clean oil.

Any suggestions???

Do a compression test on your cylinders to rule out head gasket. If they're all around the same I think it's safe to bet your head gasket is fine. Shouldn't take more than an hour, and you can return the compression gauge when you're finished with it if you don't already own one.

If you had a known adapter gasket leak, did you take care of it? You would be surprised how much coolant can be lost as steam. And engine temp can influence things for sure. So when cold, maybe it will hold pressure fine. But when its warmed up and things expand, leaks can open up.

But how much coolant are you losing?
