have you guys seen these?

those suck, they are blue colored bulbs to get the HID look. They are no where near HID quality.

If it does not have a ballast, it is not a HID light. Plain and simple.
HID lights are physically different than incandescent bulbs and require much more than 12 volts to function. The ballast is simply a transformer, increasing the voltage from the 12v supplied by the car and maintaining proper operation of the HID lamp.

No where did I ask if these were HID, they simply have the HID look(which I stated I think they are xenons), I asked if any of you have used/seen someone use them.

I know what HID lights are, I'll let you know how much they suck as my cousin ordered his. I'm hoping for the non-suckage.

Dude Nick... no need to get feisty... 02V8Sport put it well... they suck and are no where near HID quality... I believe that is the answer to the question you asked. I second that statement.

I have never used those but I can guarantee that they are just cheap rice bulbs and the silverstars are way better.

If you want a close to HID look get the Nokya's, I got compliments on them all the time before I got my HID's.

You can find them cheap on e-bay or you can tell your cousin he can find them cheap if he is disappointed.

Has anyone used/heard of anyone using these?
Obviously he has "used/heard" of them since he answered,

Why are you asking about them then if you'll find out from your cousin, especially since you don't like the answers people gave. You dont need some ridiculous attitude when people are trying to help you.

Yeah I have used them, no they don't work anything like HID's. They look like Sylvania's Cool Blue line of bulbs more than anything.

I wouldnt go with a brand like that. If you want regular bulbs just go with Hoens that Ken carries on his site. I have them in my car and I like them. Got the high's, low's and fog's for like 99 bucks.

Those things are crap don't waste your money on them.

Little known fact, those fake HID lights actually make it harder to see at night. The Blue light does not reflect as brightly as standard bulbs.

Not to mention that in many states those are illegal for road use.

Go with your first choice and go back to Pep Boys for the Silver Stars. They are the best non hid lights that I have experienced (I've tried quite a few too).

I'm sure you can decide what kelvin cant you? Regardless those are not good as far as quality but look at this......

I think its funny that they pair a SUV against a small little sports car and the small little car is still further away, photo shopped in place ( I think ) AND I can still see better ground cover from the small little sports car with the standard lights.

They call that a comparison?

I didn't have an attitude first off. And HID's are illegal everywhere, so legality is not a problem for me.

I wasn't going to buy these, and I'm not looking to upgrade my lights until I have everything else I want done, done. In actuality I think my cousin is stupid(first off, he has silverstars which blow like once a month), he's spent over $140 on lights.... I told him like 6 months ago he could have just bought an HID kit and have BETTER lighting with not as much risk of $45 bulbs blowing.

Supposedly the forums for my cousins truck have said these are good, hence my questions.
