I have noticed on ebay a few people offering "stickers" that will cover up the wood trim inside the ls's. I have been thinking about going with it, but I am uncertain of what it would look like.

Has anyone done this before?
And does it last along time?

You can go to LSKONEPTS.com and they can show you the different options....I for one would'nt go for it..I'd rather no see alot of Aluminum trim or wood trim...simplicity is key....

I think that I am going to look into the carbon fiber look or the all blk.

Do you think that I would be better off, I noticed that there was quite a few people that wanted woodgrain, ot sell it?

What is the real woodgrain worth that was in these cars from factory if I was to sell what I had.
Thanks
Marco

Ew...you seriously want Carbon fiber stickers? WHY? your car won't be any lighter.....

Hell if anything carbon fiber...we need carbon fiber hoods, trunks, etc......stuff that actually WEIGHs plenty....

Why would we need a carbon fiber hood, trunk, etc.......... on a Luxury sedan?

Besides the Lincoln LS hood and trunk lid are already aluminum along with other parts, for lightness and near 50/50 weight distribution.

these cars are ridiculously even for weight. Quick said something about being 15 lbs of differecne between any two wheels or something like that.

someone painted their wood black.... i dont care to search for it though. If you want to see what it looks like, im sure it wouldnt be hard to find. Looked good. I may do the same

marco, Sully is right. It looked nice! I forgot all about that. I think they said it was DuPont super jet black or something.

I personally disagree with the mesh carbon fiber anything. If I were to ever get carbon fiber on any vehicle it would be for a purpose and painted.

PGA2B. It took a minute, than I realized its come up about 5 times so I used the search. It worked well for me for once:D

The damn things that come up the least amount of times are the easiest to find with this damn thing.

Ahh I see didn't know the body was aluminum.....my bad...but stilll.....carbon fiber interior is just as bad as having a Barf colored interior.....or having a "I have AIDS" bumper sticker on..... :P

IMO everything non standard done in wood turns into over kill except that little door handle bezel under the inside door handle.

I would like to see a dark wood grain along the lines of cherry with my black leather.

Cherry is the wood grain king!

i made my wood trim black too. and traded someone for a Leather shift knob for my wood one.

I like the black and most people dont even know its not stock.

because i just like it better. once i painted all the trim to black from woodgrain the woodgrain shift knob looked out of place.
