Have an air ride question

I am at work (used dealership) and am working on this 01 town car the rear air springs were damaged (old) I replaced them and I can hear the compressor going but it doesn't wont to lift at all not even an inch don't hear a leak or anything and yes I turned the switch off before rising it. The only thing I can think of is the solenoids aren't opening but they working for the old bags. Idk I'm lost now. Any other thoughts would be appreciated thanks. Oh an I did post I'm the town car section too.

Did you help them on there first air up?
Raise the car to almost full height
The compressor will time out before it can fill bags from empty.

Yes I did and problem is fixed as replacing new o-rings one had snagged and got pulled back a little not allowing to air up one side the other just didn't seal properly it didn't get turned to the lock position all the way.
