That the interior of their car was built for little girls?

I have replace too much interior pieces and its getting annoying.

Maybe this is just a rant.

So far Cupholder assembly(traction button fell through prev. owner superglued the spots for the screws), Passenger vent,Center vent, both defroster vents above the side vents, and countless clips bc things just start to rattle.

Id like to get cool mods going but seems im spending 100's on interior bs.

I understand that things get brittle and break over time but i have never had this problem with any of my Hondas.

rant over...

Right there with ya. I almost flipped a lid when I lifted a cup out of the cup holder and that whole assy came right with it. Luckily nothing broke, fell through, and it doesn't rattle.

Had 4 LSs in the past couple years and never had a problem.

The traction control button was most likely elbowed....

They had to compromise so they made the interior plastics weak to compensate for making the sunroof so strong.

Have never had an issue with my interior. I don't know, sorry though. That would get annoying.

Mine is a 2000 and only had to replace the center vent so far no complaints here.

It seems to my to much crap in the interior rattles. My passenger door panel and the center console just don't seem to fit tight enough. I have spent a decent amount of time hunting rattles on a 170K car. gets old fast

2001 LS: sunroof button broke, one of the horizontal pieces from the ac/heater vent broke, piece behind drivers side door handle is coming off.. chrome and black piece around the shift knob used to slide down, but it stopped, and the buttons that say "status," "set-up," etc., broke, but i fixed that one..

My driver's door handle broke but I don't hold that against the Lincoln, since it seems like it's common in all high-mileage cars. I had the same thing happen in my old Honda.

The passenger side AC vent has always been broken since I bought mine used in '01. It's cosmetic but a nuisance.

The one thing I do hold against the Lincoln is the center console lid that broke off. It just was not properly designed at all. Mine has the car phone option, so the console lid was particularly narrow, which might have been part of the problem. But I replaced the entire console with an '02 center console, which got rid of the stupid flip-up cupholders, so on balance I think I ended up ahead on the deal.
