Hey guys, I have one of those drive plays hooked to one of those FRD-AUX going to my factory alpine 6 disc. Problem is, I have a buzz like there is a grounding problem.
I've been able to narrow it down to the drive+play causing it. I have this hardwired in to the power and ground to my cigarette lighter in the front so I figured that might have been the problem so I unhooked the hardwired power cable and plugged in the cigarette lighter adapter for it in to the cigarette lighter in the back seat and still had the buzz.
To play it safe I put an rca ground loop isolater between the drive+play and the FRD-AUX and I've also put a couple snap-on ferrite noise suppressors on the harness going in to the back of my deck before I narrowed it down to the drive+play.
Does anybody use these two pieces of equipment for their ipod, and if so is this a problem you faced?
