Does it work pretty good? Pick up the cops from far away or? I've heard good things about Bel..

I hardwired mine into the rear view mirror and mount it high next to the auto wiper sensor.

it works really well, it picks up cops from any direction from a pretty good distance and has almost no false alarms, and i would have mounted it up high but i have a strip of tint i put of there so it would have been pretty far down the windshield

In my mark, I hardwired mine using an add-a-fuse under the dash. Its easy and you can do it to any car.

i did that but i had to add it to the hardwire kit in order for it to work, it was like 7 dollars and autozone

before i would always just unplug it from the cigarette lighter when i got out of the car, and when i first put it is i always reached towards it to unplug it lol buts its definately a lot nice now

looks real nice, where are you getting the power to run it, fuse box? or did you run the wire some where else

i used a wire coming off the steering column, i dont remember what the colors were. 12v switched so it goes on and off with the key. i have done this with every car i've had...i hate that big coiled cord that comes with the detectors, looks trashy IMO
