Theres a big car show tomorrow here in jacksonville, so i started getting the car ready yesterday. Finally bought a good digital camera so here are a couple of pics to get me started. you all wish me luck, maybe i can get another one for the lincs. gonna be hard, all the local shops will be there and there cars always have the best of everything. my lights are refurbished, paid a pro to buff them out, almost look new and my bumper has been repainted and the ugly license plate removed. and finally my trunk is halfway done. next project the trunk lid. will try to get some better pics, learning the new camera.View attachment 22449[/ATTACH]

id love to see a better pic of the trunk. I was goin to do mine like that. i started mine. but didnt know what to do about the bateery and getting to the trunk release and the tail light bulbs. please show me how u did it. also what did u wrap it in. looks real good.
 
Theres only two screws that hold the back piece in place, cant see them. back piece comes out, and the two top tan pieces are pressure fitted in (perfect fit) they come right out after the back piece comes out and the bam battery and fuses on right side, spare will fit, but i dont have mine in there. the bottom dark tan piece around the amp is basically floating under the two light tan pieces. I wrapped the black oem carpet with a nice tan carpet and made a piece so the contour of the trunk is the same on both sides. all the back seat cables and even the emer trunk release are in their original spots. I have another piece in the works. it is going to be an etched glass piece with LS on it. it will go above the amp and i will take off the jbl square on the amp.

I have never had any problems with pioneer. the only thing not pioneer in my car is the amp. you may be suprised to here the compliments i get on the quality and loudness of my system. I dont really care to have my trunk rattle and my glass to crack. if you have the right setup anything can sound good. the only other sub i would go for is JL and my best friend has JL and i beat him in a sound quality competition. highs and base. he also has two more highs than me. he runs alpine highs. Im not saying their better, just better for me.
 
in your first post decibles all i see is a picture of your ls with the hood up and the headlights removed? am i missing somethin? theres no pic of your trunk
 
you are those the 256cs something like that. 10". i got the same setup. except i got a pioneer amp. if oyu need the hookup on pioneer let me know. i can get 7" indash pioneer with tv tuner for 536. new in box with warranty. got those subs for 40 buck and the 800 watt amp was 90.
 
its not my daddy's does that 7inch indash come with navi tooo? i want one

its there, kind of posted weird. I was also trying to learn how to edit pics with my new digital camera. here is how it used to look. will post some more pics after the car show tomorrow and i finish detailing the car.
