Gun Metal/Black Chrome

As I looked at my semi brake dust covered front rims I noticed it made my silver birch look sexier, I just went through the 37 pages of the hieroglyphics thread and the closest thing i could find to match my vision was this LS

Do yaw think the stock 7 spokes would look alright if I went gunmetal or black chrome with them? (any one have a spare set of wheels they wouldn't mind letting me borrow if I go through with this )

it looks nice, but if you were to do it in black i would maybe leave the outside edge of the wheel silver like he did so it doesn't blend into the wheel well
