This offer is for people that wish to drive in a safe manner, with the flow of traffic, and be given an opportunity to slow down before a reading is acquired should their vehicle be targeted by laser (or lidar) speed enforcement equipment.

This is for the Blinder M27, a very highly rated product. I'm looking at around $425 each but I can zero in on that once I find out who's interested. The price will include shipping. Please let me know who's interested!

I'm currently installing one myself due to my long commute. When finished, I will post up some pictures.

Those things are awesome. Too rich for my blood though. I'll have to keep taking my chances while I am driving "with the flow of traffic" :D

been pulled over 3times in the LS but only been issued warnings...so Im' not worried...it's all about how you talk with them :-D

Your luck will run out sooner or later. Then what? Its nothing compared to tickets and insurance premiums.
My feeling is it just needs to work once to pay for itself. My radar detector has paid for itself 10 fold. This device provides protection in what is really a gaping hole left by detectors alone.

we'll see. Plus I have Prepaid legal and taking care of tickets is only like 50bucks :P

just don't be the first guy, or the last guy! ;)

your rear fog light should keep you safe from rear facing attacks! :D

no...just alk logical or make em laugh. Too many ppl freak out or act stupid. Cops deal with a lot of sh*t and retarded people and WOMEN are the worst when they get pulled over...reason they get tickets 99% of the time that they are pulled over......

Sounds like a ridiculous thing to invest that much money in. I also love how you state its use is to "drive in a safe manner". If there's a law that says dont do it....dont do it. Just because you seem to convince yourself its "safe" doesnt make it so. I by no means drive the speed limit 100% of the time, but i also accept the fact that i can be busted at anytime for not doing so, and i would deserve whatever the cop gives me. I have been stopped for speeding and have been let off all but once, and as stated above having a good attitude will get you far, actually accepting how your driving instead of coming up with excuses will earn you some respect. I drive 500+ miles per week and i seem to do just fine making it without a jammer. Another thing is that anyone who has one of these "safe driving" jammers will definately have a false sense of security and that one cop that is still using the good 'ol radar gun will catch you.

P.S. - Anyone actually wanting to buy one of these jammers might be interested in another group buy, i have a good source for an asteroid deflection radar. Never know when one of those damned asteroids might land on your house. Better to be safe than sorry !!!

Not as often as getting painted by police laser.

These devices work great!!!

Befuddled look on cops face- Priceless!

I've had an M20 in my Camaro Vert since 2002.
My other M20 I had in a Taurus then the LS shorted due to moisture damage in about 2 years.
I got an M25 and it went bad in 6 months same thing moisture damage.
Blinder replaced it but I kept it as a spare and got the top line
2 year warranty Laser Interceptor front and back coverage.

Their site also contains a link to Guys of Lidar who test these jammers.
Makes for great reading.

The Laser Interceptor will jam to gun virtually all laser guns and is completely undetectable as well as legal in 40 of 50 states.

My Valentine 1 radar detector has that covered.
It's just so good at sniffing out cops it's amazing!!!

This is a very reasonable price. It could go a little lower if there is interest. You are obviously not interested so please take your debate elsewhere and stop clogging the thread.

I also love how you state its use is to "drive in a safe manner". If there's a law that says dont do it....dont do it.

This is for the states where there are no laws about it! It is legal, safe when used properly. It reduces the odds of you being the victim of a revenue generating speed trap (and illegally posted speed limits).

Just because you seem to convince yourself its "safe" doesnt make it so. I by no means drive the speed limit 100% of the time, but i also accept the fact that i can be busted at anytime for not doing so, and i would deserve whatever the cop gives me.

It is absolutely safe. I can assure you a laser jammer has not killed anyone! You absolutely do deserve a ticket if you speed and do nothing to try to avoid a ticket.

I have been stopped for speeding and have been let off all but once, and as stated above having a good attitude will get you far, actually accepting how your driving instead of coming up with excuses will earn you some respect.

Once again, this is nothing to do with this thread. Admitting guilt gets you tickets. I'm not selling a bucket of excuses for when you get pulled over, I'm helping to reduce the odds of getting pulled over.

I drive 500+ miles per week and i seem to do just fine making it without a jammer. Another thing is that anyone who has one of these "safe driving" jammers will definately have a false sense of security and that one cop that is still using the good 'ol radar gun will catch you.

So buy a detector too! I drive just over 500 miles per week myself (where cops hide the car IN the woods, and crouch behind a guardrail with the laser gun) and have NEVER had a ticket. There is a reason; I pay attention, and use my radar detector only as backup. That does not mean I will always see him because I'm busy driving first. The laser jammer is also backup, filling a hole left in personal protection by a shift in technology. Law enforcement is moving towards laser. There is no replacement for being alert and aware of your surroundings, not only to avoid tickets, but to avoid accidents. You can go around a corner at 60mph on the highway and get nailed. BAM ticket. You are punished for driving safely. I won't go into how most speed limits themselves are illegally posted.

P.S. - Anyone actually wanting to buy one of these jammers might be interested in another group buy, i have a good source for an asteroid deflection radar. Never know when one of those damned asteroids might land on your house. Better to be safe than sorry !!!

this is the dumbest post i have ever read and only replied so other people don't jump to conclusions about the product. I asked for people who were interested to respond. You are not so please take your debate elsewhere.

Thank you for the positive and informed input!! Guysoflidar is a great place to find independent test results. It does not look like moisture will be an issue on this particular model although i have not seen the construction of the previous model first hand. The transponders are the only thing that gets mounted outside. The kit is high quality and is fairly simple to install.

You can no longer get a warranty on the laserinterceptor. This sounds like a poor product. They are getting sued by Blinder for patent infringement.

Well the M20 in my Camaro is still working after 7 years and I drove it through 3 or 4 winters.
Maybe there was a bad batch of M25's.

The Laser Interceptor rated the highest but it's also the most expensive at 550.00. (1100.00 for front and rear)
It also talks in a sexy chicks voice :D , has a mute wire I attached to my kenwood 9140 and can be hooked to a small external speaker.
Looking at the comparisons Blinder was pretty close in performance offering good value for the money.

Laser Interceptor
Retail version, blind purchased from an authorized dealer by a 3rd party (non-GOL member)

Interesting
Well I haven't had any problems with mine but I'll see how it goes through the next winter.
I've been painted a few times with laser since I put it in and I know it works.
I had 2 Blinders go bad due to moisture damage so I wanted to try something else.

The victim???? That is the most immature paranoid big brother nonsense i have ever heard. Victim.... you gotta be kidding. If a sign says 45 mph.... then go 45 mph, not 49, not 51, not 54. How is that a hard concept to understand? Grow up. Your telling me even though a sign says 45 mph you GOTTA go 55 mph, or if heaven forbid it says 25 you gotta go 35...just GOTTA do it huh? Thats amazing. And spare me on the speed trap nonsense, you're getting caught doing something a sign is telling you not too. Where i live during Christmas time the local cops will stand on a corner and dress like santa or an elf and run laser. They do it every year yet people still get caught. I bet you think that is unethical and you'd be a victim if you got caught by an elf toting a laser gun.

Maybe there are some stop signs you disagree with also, maybe you should get an invisability cloak so you can cruise thru the stop signs when you feel like it without getting busted.

"You absolutely do deserve a ticket if you speed and do nothing to try to avoid a ticket."
How about avoiding the ticket by NOT speeding. Its not that hard and its 100% effective!!!

"You can go around a corner at 60mph on the highway and get nailed. BAM ticket. You are punished for driving safely."

What the hell are you talking about?? Punished for driving safely? If the speed limit is 60 mph why would you be punished, oh... the speed limit must not be 60 then. Even if a road goes from 70 mph to just 60 mph when you go around a corner then think ahead, your only excuse in that circumstance would be your first time on that stretch of road. From your 2nd, 3rd, 4th and on and on its on you to know that it drops when you go around the corner. Arguing that point makes you sound like a baby. Poor policeman being mean hiding in the woods.

A Sheriff who writes a ticket has no monetary incentive, not one penny goes back to the department. A Police Officer on the other hand does get a portion of the ticket revenue to go back to the department, thats why they are more likely to write tickets. Its not that hard to know where your driving and what they might possibly do or be hiding. More times than not they sit in the EXACT SAME SPOT. Again, your only excuse then is your first time in the area. In my 500+ miles of driving i KNOW there are certain hot spots that they patrol and i KNOW not to go over the posted speed limit in that area, regardless of whether i have a detector or jammer. And speaking of the good 'ol radar gun, a radar detector is only effective against dumb cops. Any cop who is continuosly running radar is just saying, HERE I AM. A cop who knows his stuff will know how and where to sit and wait till your visable and hit the radar on, your detector is 100% useless in that scenerio.

One last thing, its only legal in 40 of 50 states.... Do you happen to live in one of those 10 that its not? Just wondering.

Fla02LS: If you're interested in discussing this matter more completely, I'm happy to participate... just move it to another thread. Start one up, and I'll be there.

Bottom line is that HIGHWAY speeds limits are often illegally posted too low (federal law). This is purely to generate revenue. When the 55 NMSL was repealed, people like you kept saying we'd have thousands more deaths... guess what, it didn't happen... because speed limits aren't about safety.

Again, I'm happy to provide sources and further discussion on another thread, but I will not reply to you here any more.

Thanks

Amen. It's a way for local governments to add taxes without a vote.

"Posted too low" ? According to who? You? Gee, didnt know you were a lawmaker or an expert on speed limits. Perhaps if thats your view take issue with it next time elections come around. I'm not saying speed causes deaths, bad drivers cause deaths. The Autobahn is a statistically safe road, much safer than any U.S. highway and they have sections with zero speed limit but there are also sections with a speed limit. If all roads in the U.S. went to a 80 mph speed limit it probably wouldnt make a difference in accidents. But your missing the point of thats what the law says...so follow the law. I am sure there are lots of laws that lots of people personally disagree with, but that doesnt give you the "right" to take it upon yourself to disregard them. Again, it is what it is and you sound like a baby complaining about it. If your so against your local speed limits have you ever tried to do something the adult, american way.... either try to get the laws changed or try to get new lawmakers voted in, if that doenst work... oh well. You playing the "victim" role is just so lame. If you posted that you like to speed and dont care otherwise and have decided to use a jammer to get away with it then fine. But you took the role of the victim and mean policeman hiding in the woods and crooked governments illegally taking your money. Lame. You decided to post this subject, live with it.

If you posted that you like to speed and dont care otherwise and have decided to use a jammer to get away with it then fine.

I'll agree with this statement.
I like to speed and don't care otherwise and have armed myself with these devices to be able to do it.
Look laws are written because they're broken.
IMO speed limits are underposted by 15-25 mph in a lot of places.
They're supposed to follow the 85th percentile rule in setting speed limits
but never do because of "other" considerations.
If 85% of drivers are doing 85 on a given road then that should be the limit.
Good luck getting the speed limit raised even though most motorists vote with their foot.

I've seen sneaky cops sitting on an overpass lasering cars from behind on a piece of highway that goes from 55 to 65 in a short distance.
Their buddies are lined up over the hill waiting to pull people over.
This is a total tax collection ploy as they never sat there in over 10 years when the speed limit was 55 all the way.
Everybody pleads guilty to a fake (always liked this "lie" from the court) parking ticket that the town gets the money from and then gets sent to traffic school, proceeds from which the town gets a cut of.

That was one of the reasons I got the rear jammers too.
I've been hoping to test them out at this opportunistic speed trap
but haven't had the chance yet.

One thing about the rear jammers.
Strong headlights from behind close up will set them off,
but that's ok.
After reading stuff there's some conflicting evidence as to how well the Laser Interceptor works not if it works.
