I was wondering if there would be any interest in getting pedal for the LS. If we can get enough interest then maybe we can get this going, I can do all the leg work if there is. I am going to be contacting Autovation Technologies about it all. This will be for the auto only. Here's an idea of what we'd be getting. They have four styles to choose from. I have a set of these in my SVT Contour and I love them but that doesn't mean much I guess.

This is a 3 pedal set from the Ford Fusion

I would be interested in something a little more custom. Lincoln star ingraved into them.

I can definitely ask if they can do that. Would you want it on all 3 or just the dead pedal? Maybe a smooth faced dead with a nice sized star?

Having it ingraved on the "dead pedal" would be cool.

Guess I'd be in as long as they weren't insane money. I've already knocked the brake pedal cover off a few times with my hoofs down there. Not sure I'd use the dead pedal though. Not quite the look I want. Worse case scenario I'd sell it to someone else on here.

I'm interested, but is there no pedals out there at all for the LS in stores or online?

We drive a Lincoln...it was never meant to be modified in anyways. Im surprised we have any aftermarket at all.

The only aftermarket part made for our cars was the seatbelt extender so you could click it in and leave it and shut up the annoying chime from reminding you you didn't put your seatbelt on! LOL!

Everything else is just begged, borrowed, or stolen :)

Everytime i go to buy a part or something i get the odd stare and the "you drive a lincoln??" remark. Everybody thinks of a towncar right away.

They forget the navigator and most have no idea what the LS is or was.

^ So true. I've had three people in the last two days ask me what kind of car it is. If they still we're making it, and when I told them it was an 02 they didn't believe me. Its to bad the LS platform is dead in Lincoln, it could really be beneficial to the brand. IMO of course

Right... I'm sure every LS owner gets that :\

I could use some new pedals, my brake cover always seems to fall off. Def interested.. I like the custom idea with the Lincoln symbol.

If you read the manual you would know how to disable that annoying beltminder function. :D

I would also be interested in a simple set with a Lincoln star! Keep us updated.

The only procedure I saw was a temporary one. Guess I missed the permanent fix one :)

Ok everyone, here's the response I received to my question about the Lincoln star in the dead pedal:
We cannot produce the lincoln star due to potential violations of Ford trademarks. It is possible to do a pocketed pedal that you could install an OEM emblem on similar to the attached picture we did for the Trailblazer SS. If you can provide us with the emblem, we can make the pocket.

Does anyone have the ability to make the stars on a cnc machine to use as inserts? Or should we do something like the picture they sent me has?

They can make a pocket to fit the oem trunk emblem and use it.

Or they can just engrave and "LS" in there and have it painted black. No trademark on that, it's just 2 letters

Or falec could sell some emblems to everyone who buys these pedals...

But I like the LS engraving idea better personally.
