Really just insult to injury.

As if it wasn't bad enough I am contemplating freezing my ass off to do the clutch in truck, in 12* weather tomorrow. Now the damn seat frame broke in the Lincoln. So I got the cool rocker chair effect now. Don't think I am going to bother trying a temp fix (jb weld).

Anyone got a driver side seat frame for sale? Did some looking on ebay...is anyone dumb enough to pay $250 for a damn frame? Worse case I found a 95 Mark in a Denver j-yard. I will just drive up Tuesday and pull it.

Has been a :q:q:q:q week, and I have so far killed three glasses of whiskey. If I continue to reply tonight, I am sure they will become harder to read, since I just started glass four.

I have a seat frame I could sell cheap, bit freight would probably kill. Don't jb weld a seat frame, especially if you drive on ice.

If you can get a price (shipped) for me, shoot me a pm.

Should have known it was only a matter of time. Just too many things working against me for it to not break. For example:
-Basically launching the car hard from a stop on a regular basis, with my 240lb ass being thrown against the seat.
-Bad habit I developed from being cramped in my Mustang. I tend to plant my foot and push back against the seat, stretching my leg to reach in my pockets (phone, wallet, etc).

Gen 1 and 2 are different.

My seat frame in my 97 broke and I just pulled it off and had the local muffler shop put a bead on it for $10 then I bolted it right back in. Lasted through an accident and several more months before the car was sold off.

Did some searching. Thought the frames were interchangeable. Just need to swap the electronics over.

There is a 95 in a yard in Denver, was going to make a field trip and go up there, if a gen 1 will work.

Granted I have been drinking all night, so maybe my info is wrong.
