Got my car fixed, still haven't cashed check

I took my van in to get fixed two saturdays ago, and picked it up Wednesday the 17th, and payed with a check which they ran through the machine. I've been checking my bank account and it still hasn't taken the money out, it's not even in holding. Am I getting a freebie . I know it was close to the week end but I think they still had plenty of time to cash it.

Wait 90 days then cancel the check. My bank will honor that as a free reason to cancel it. Any other reason they charge $25
