Got a tune from Torrie :added video:

To hear the growl of the exhaust.

cant hear it much at 3K rpm.

LOL i bet you do.

Have you replaced those 16 spark plugs yet??

How much did your custom tune cost? And are you selling your old set up?

Ha see it sucks when its out of your control doesnt it fastls

Cool. Ill be getting mine installed over spring break.

I don't get a spring break.. :(

I hope they actually get the parts done soon because I really want to drive my ls again.. I've had enough 'seat' time in my Danger Ranger..

that sucks. I'll prob pick up some work those days but it's still nice to get days off school.

So you just need the pats from that shop and you're done?

I still have no idea what the benefit is that everyone sees in being able to rev the engine in neutral.

The benifit is, I wanted it, I got it.... I don't feel I'm running any more risk damaging my engine than if I were accelerating to the stock shift points.

Maybe I worded it wrong, the rev limiter is not gone. It is merely raised to 6200 rpm.

It rev's up to the limiter slow still, I'm talking with Torrie now to see if he can fix that issue, it takes probably 5-6 seconds to get from idle to the limiter. The computer for the car actually sets a limit on Torque for P & N... grrr. Hopefully he can help out.

On another note, I love my Samsung Epic 4g.. so easy to upload video's and do anything else.

TURN IT UP, IT'S HARD TO HEAR!

YouTube - 03 Lincoln LS no rev limiter

Silver, did the car rev up that slow before you loaded the tune?

You might have some coils on their way out. It shouldn't rev that slow. If you want i can take a video of mine for comparison.

Yea please do... Yes the car always since I've bought it in 2006 has rev'd that slow :( There are no coils going out though, it runs like a champ.
