Got a tough choice that needs to be made!

Ok so I started working my new job two weeks ago and I love it there, good pay, great benefits, always busy and the days fly by! A year ago when I came back from California I applied at the house of corrections for a position as a corrections officer.

Yesterday I get my letter from the county sheriff stating I am eligible to take the physical fitness test and further my application there. I do not know what to do, I like my new job and would hate to ditch it for something I don't like but I hear gov't jobs are amazing and being a corrections officer sounds like a great job.

Helping the man further belittle blue collar Americans, 1/4 of them are actually bad people. I guess if it makes you money though it's alright.Just my thoughts.

Talk with Marked8 I think he works for the correctional system ... he could let you know more.

Important thing to think about is Job Security ... what kind of retirement program and who is the insurance. Government jobs tend to have better health care.
