Got a new ride, and the best news of my life!

I love Fox coups and the only time you see a really good shape one its a 4 banger. I would love a 93 Coupe and just do a simple 5.0 install. They are a dime a dozen and it aint no thing to drop a 5.0, trans and rear end from a donar car in one.
Good luck with the project and if you wanna engine swap it then nows the time cause in 9 months you wont be doing any mods for a LOOOOOONG time. :p

Ive been searching 6 forums, craigslist and autotrader.com for about 6-7 months now and this is one of the cleanest and lowest milage notch's ive seen. Every v8 notch or hatch ive went and looked at was just trashed....to the point it would be cheaper to buy a 4 banger and do a swap. I almost bought a 93 cobra with 60xxx miles that was missing the engine for 6k but having to drive to NY to pick it up and get it back here was the big problem for me. When i get it cleaned up and detailed ill post some better pictures of it.

Congrats on both of your new additions, me and my wife tried for 7 years. With help from the the fertility specialist we got 2 boys now 3 and 18 mons old and just when we thought we were done, we had a lil girl last febuary! Enjoy your new baby , the best is yet to come.

Now you can keep the notch in the garage and drive the Mark Viii, lol that coupe is practically a show car! lol

If you decide to ever part with it, I know how to get to Shepherdsville. :)

Plus it would give me an excuse to come down there and steal a Bullitt county sign, lol

LOL She will have a Bullitt County plate on it! I live in an apartment complex so no garage as of yet. The wife and i are talking about renting a house since buying/building one isnt an option. Im going to get a few things touched up on it and a couple dents pulled and i might see what kind of trades i could get out of it. I know i can almost double my money on it right now but im going to hold out for awhile. Maybe someone with a 96-98 Cobra would want to trade with cash on my end, if that offer came to me i would take it up but intill then it will be my 40 mile a day 4 days a week DD.

I did buy a set of 5 star Ponys today. Im sanding them down and repainting them now, this weekend i should have some new rubber on them. It will look so much better with them on there.

Congrats on the news... Being a parent its a great thing... Also great looking car... Not a big fan of the 4 banger but always loved that body on a Mustang

Im not a big fan of the 4 banger either but i now own a cleaner notch Mustang than 90% of the Mustang owners out there have ever seen (not including new on the dealers lot), on top of that i dont have to pay for 91 octane fuel and only see 22 mpg. Check out this months issue of MM&FF, theres a 93 notch with a turboed 2.5L 4 cylinder pushing 320 rwhp and over 400 ftlbs of tq.

Rooster: An '04 terminator is a car I'd be proud to own, but I'm sure your mark could have stayed around![/QUOTE]

My limit is 4.5 Trucks and 1 car, It had to go! I quit driving it anyway. Now that I have the 04 I can see why there are so many different vehicles with 03/04 donor engines. When it hits full boost it`s a smiling, sideways good time. Til you hit a tree. Going to de-tune it just a tad, keep the giggle factor and make it more driveable.

Shows 15 lbs at max boost. Took my Dad for a ride, 3rd gear doing 35 m.p.h. I nailed it. By the time he could giggle and say Oh SH*t we were sideways doing 80. Totally different animal than a Mark.

Is it stock? Sounds like more than the 400ish ponies that it should make stock. I'm gonna have to butt out before I de-rail this thread!
