I never thought I would have to sell my baby, but I must part with her. I was wondering though what would be a good price for her. 2001 LS, V8, Auto, Complete Exhuast, LSK full intake, 30% window tint, newer tires, runs flawlessly, Silver LSE Body Kit, Color Match grill, 2005 Headlights, 74k miles all updates completed by dealer. No dents and dings. So what do guys think. I'm in Ohio.

i think you can get 8k, your mileage is fairly low, at least in comparison to mine, but with the market the way it is it has to be around that price range.

Thats what I was hoping to get, I put it up for 9k and was hoping I could walk away with 8k.

Well, remember that when selling, all your mods mean essentially nothing when it comes to negotiating price. 8 sounds fair. Right now there is a 2002 LS Sport in a lot here in my town. 81K miles. Good condition. And the dealer is asking 10K. Which means the most anyone should pay for that particular 2002 on their lot is 9000.

oops. posted as you were posting. The price you are hoping to settle on is not out of place. Good luck with the sale. Pics? My girlfriend may be in the market for a new ride soon... :shifty:

Uh oh... now you have me thinking about purchasing a second LS!

Trade in you wont get jack. The auction prices are so low on LS it's unbeleiveable. And unfortunately just having a V8 these days has a gas guzzling stigma.

I love my baby. If it was all wheel drive I never be giving her up. A new job is forcing me to relocate to somewhere there is lots of snow in the winter.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I have also replaced both rear window regulators within the last year.

I live in Montana, we get our share of snow and up until a month ago drove a RWD Impala SS clone all year around. I bought a set of michelin pilot alpine winter tires, the car was heavy with a G80 posi rear end and I went everywhere. You might consider keeping the LS and buying a beater Toyota 4x4 for the deep snow drift days.

Good luck.

Unfortunatly I have to entertain high profile cleints some times. So I need something nice all the time. I am probally going to go back to an S4 or a BMW X series.
