Looking to upgrade my stock highs and fogs to a good halogen.. I want to try as much as i can to match the color to my stock HID's. If i cant... whats a good bulb and temp to put in these?
Good quality halogen upgrade?

i learned my lesson and never listened to bulb temps "k" on NON-HID lights... they are always wrong and/or false. I bought 6000 k lights n were same exact color as my 8500k.. i ended up buying yellow ones to put contrast to my 8500k headlights
n for ur highs.. i'd keep em the same but if u must go get some sylvanias the highest quality... they're the brightest from what ive heard(i might be wrong on this..)

I did exactly what you are doing now. I'm using Hoen XenonMatch bulbs in my high beams and fogs. I added Hoen H11 foglights to replace the yellowish stock bulbs and to match the factory HIDs. I have the Hoen 9005 bulbs for the high beams. As I mentioned previously, you will need a Torx wrench before you can replace those. The color temperature match is not exact, but very close. I also added HID-tinted license plate light bulbs for a "complete" exterior lighting look.
You can get these bulbs from LSKoncepts (www.lskoncepts.com). Ken can steer you to the right products, so don't hesitate to ask for his advice.

Yes, as I mentioned above, both my high beam bulbs and foglight bulbs were upgraded to Hoen Xenonmatch.

I can recommend the Hoen Xenonmatch Plus bulbs that Ken sells on his LSKoncepts site. I upgraded to the Factory HIDs on my 04 LSE. They are an exact match in color with the Factory HID bulbs. If you like that color, then you could use them in both the high and low beams.

i got the nokya super white 7000k statge II. i also bought led's for the entire interior of my car.. also my license plate light.. theyll look good when i put them in. any comments on this?
what color LED's did you use in the interior? I did all blue ones from www.superbrightleds.com turned out pretty good!

pek.. i did blue on the rear.. looks like cheap shi7 bought the super whites with 5 led's on each bulb.. gonna make it look nice.. should be pretty close to my hid's.. i know its just gonna look so good when my doors open at night and that whole cabin shines white halogen. waaay better than my stock yellow bulbs.
huh... mine shine very bright. the overhead ones have 9 LED's in each bulb (18 total in the front, and 9 in the back) plus i think 7 on each bulb in the footwells. doesn't look like "cheap shi7" to me. but to each his own. i'd like to see the bright whites when you get them installed, since i was debating between those and the blues i have now. the bright whites seemed to be too much light for me, like if you were to hang a shop light with 2 flourescent tubes in your car. although, maybe it'll look great, and i'll have to switch mine out too!

i so want to put LED's in my car but i dont want to spend the time pulling down the headliner and taking out pillars...

na man.. the blues u got prob look nice.. mine are only a single bulb.. didnt know any better but now i do. stuntin.. do you have to pull the pillars out to do the overhead lights??? pektel.. did you? how did you get those in.. luckily the foot ones are right there.. no covers..im gonna replace the ashtray and glove box too.
yep, had to pull the pillars, visors, and the "oh s**t" handles. of course, mine is a gen 1, so your process may vary. hopefully one of the design changes from gen 1 to gen 2 was easier dome light bulb replacement.
Removing all that stuff only took a few minutes. the real beotch was pulling the headliner and dome light assembly down. took me about an hour altogether. i'll post a few pics if you like. not of the process, but of the finished result.

I wish i could get these to actually show how bright they are. these are crappy pics, but oh well:
I like that look a lot! Maybe when it gets warmer out around here I'll tackle this in my car.
Back to the topic of this thread, I also have the Hoen XenonMatch fog light bulbs from LSKoncepts in my car, too.
