The unit Frogman posted ha excellent bluetooth functionality, but I wasnt able to find that radio anywhere but Ebay for over $75,000. :D

Look at the Pioneer AVIC-D3, it the best bang for the buck out there at this time.

Just installed my Avic yesterday, but agreed. Great unit.

BUT..for FULL bluetooth functionality, go and do some reading on www.avic411.com. Not every bluetooth phone is 100% fully compatible with the Avic. I have a treo 650, and as an example, cant get my contacts transferred over via bluetooth. Others with Razors have NO problem

Yeah, the 650's Bluetooth implementation leaves something to be desired (I used to have one), and it's certainly not unique in that. Bluetooth should be Bluetooth, but not every manufacturer implements it in the same way, so it's important to check compatibility before you jump.

+1, take the common bluetooth devices for your phones. Some are compatable only to certain manufacturers. Be carefull you dont wanna get something you cant use, but I would see the bluetooth as the last desire if you want to go as far as a Navi unit.

And just FYI..the Avic D3 doesnt have bluetooth compatibility out of the box. You have to purchase the added bluetooth module. It's slightly larger than the size of a cassette case, but not as big as a CD case. Plugs right into the back of the Avic. I can say that it works well. Once you get your bluetooth phone registered and paired with the D3..it automatically recognizes it each time you get into the car. I have my Pioneer bluetooth's mic clipped to the headliner at the front, right in front of me. Incoming calls automatically mute the audio source (Ipod, DVD, CD, Satellite, Radio, whatever) and the phone rings through the speakers. You can answer through the phones buttons, or through the AVIC's touchscreen. Or, you can program the Avic to automatically answer after X number of rings. Sound quality both ways is excellent with windows up/roof closed. Cant speak for windows and roof open, but Im going to guess not as good.
