I have been a bit curious about putting a cobra intake in my car for a while now. The other day I started looking around and I found one that came with.

-Complete Intake
-Imrc's
-Imrc controller
-Fuel rail
-Throttle body

All of this for $350. Does that sound like a good deal or should I keep looking? I know I need to swap out gears to make this mod worth while but, what other parts will I need to complete the swap?

I spend about that a couple years ago, but ended up selling it on ebay. I think i got like $450.

No, you would have to get a tune as they are 32's i believe... the reason I said it was a really good deal is after you buy the intake and put it on using the Mark injectors you can sell the 32's!

From the reading I have done I dont really need the Throttle body or the imrc stuff because I can just use the mark stuff

Yeah you have to flip it over. Should I keep the imrc stuff in the deal and have extras or resell them or see if I can have the guy keep them and lower the price a bit?

You should hurt em Frog... LOL!... then after he is injured I'm gonna sneak in and steal all the cobra stuff... :)

A lot of misinformation in this thread. Yes, that's a good deal for a Cobra Intake. All 96-98 Cobras came with the same 24lb injectors as the Mark VIII. The 98 Cobra also has the same exact plastic IMRC's with the bigger ports as the gen 2 Mark VIII's. The 96-97 Cobra intake has the aluminum IMRC's. If you have ever looked at the gen 1 Mark VIII IMRC's you will be surprised to see that they have the same ports as the never released "A" heads, two circles instead of one circle and one rectengular port. Completely different that the Cobra and gen 2 Mark VIII.
