Does anyone know if the crome part can easily come off from the rest of the grill?
The one for sale is scratches, so i would only want the actual grill and swap out the chrome/emblem part.

yes, 4 allen bolts and the 2 pieces seperate

some of the grills are a little different and are glued together in a couple of spots (2nd gens with the chrome all the way around the grill) and need to be cut apart and epoxied back together

My 2000 grille which looks identical to that one, is only held together by clips. I haven't tried to separate it though.

I didn't really think about it, I have a 2002, there was no glue on mine, looks identical to the one listed.

i'll sit in the corner now, the 4 bolts hold it to the hood. The clips hold the 2 pieces together, had to check because it's been a while since I did it.

this grill sucks, not bad for 45 but you could find the same at a junk yard
