After almost 2 years this car is now becoming a headache. According to this diagram i just replaced 23, 24, 15 , and 3. As well as the degas bottle and a new thermostat. The upper radiator hose was done 4 months ago yet, its still overheating. I guess its time to go to the steelership :(

Was it bled properly after changing those parts? Not being a smartass at all but not bleeding correctly can leave air pockets in the system which could create an issue with overheating.

yes sir, i followed the directions from the tech articles. I may try bleeding again though because i only did it twice. Is the steady stream that comes out supposed to be calm stream or a forceful stream? Ive had both.

Either is fine I think. You just want no more air to come out. It can take a while and a lot of coolant.

Honestly, I have never done it myself. I am sure another member who reads this thread and has will speak up with an answer. Just give it a few. I know member joegr always is a solid point of reference. May or may not be too late to see him online tonight but he is usually on throughout daytime hours.

Replace the degas tank (item 12). OVerlooked that the first time I replied. It gets hairline cracks on the backside where you can't see and then the system can't pressurize. I had no problem with my dorman brand but others not so lucky. Might want motorcraft one. Damn degas tank is challenging the coil on plugs as the biggest POS part on this car.
